Title: Designing Protypes for fall prevention testing among local senior citizens
Description:
Today, the College of William & Mary runs a joint program with Williamsburg Landing to look for ways to minimize accidental falls among adults over 65 years of age. My honors project will demonstrate that the Applied Science and Physics Departments propose to form a student team that focuses on design thinking and the engineering design process. A prototype that will replace the current technology being used at Williamsburg Landing should test a person's balance, muscle strength, response time, and other kinesiology-related examinations.
