Food for All, established in Spring 2022, is a student-run club focused on unlocking food access for William & Mary students, faculty, and staff. Currently, our operations include the management of two food pantries, food donation partnerships with local restaurants, sustainability initiatives to decrease food waste, and more. Through these initiatives, we have distributed over 3,000 meals, and still continue to see demand for our services increase. With the money we earn through Tribefunding this year, we hope to fully restock our two food pantries, one of which is on campus in Sadler, to fulfill common student requests for high-demand food and hygiene products such as pasta, rice, beans, and menstrual hygiene products.
We currently do not have university sponsorship or any other source of consistent funding, so our operations entirely depend on financial and physical donations from the community. To date, our operations cost about $400/month, and we expect our costs to continue to rise as need increases. Earning through Tribefunding would allow us to better meet these needs in our community.
