William & Mary Symphony Orchestra consists of students and community members with a passion for playing classical music! Led by conductor Dr. Grandis, WMSO plays multiple recitals each semester for the William & Mary and wider Williamsburg community.
Each spring, WMSO members go on a domestic tour. In February 2026, the ensemble traveled to Washington DC to play alongside the Virginia Chamber Orchestra. In Summer 2023, WMSO performed abroad in Prague and Vienna! We are excited to be planning our next international tour for the summer of 2027, which will take the orchestra all the way to Greece and Cyprus.
All donations from our TribeFunding campaign will
be used to offset the student cost of this tour. The proceeds will make WMSO
and the incredible experiences it provides more accessible to all students.
