About

Film and Media Studies at William & Mary brings together critical analysis and hands-on creative practice to help students understand how film and media shape culture, identity and public life. Students engage with theory, production and interdisciplinary collaboration as part of a dynamic learning experience.

Your contribution directly supports student creativity and professional development. Gifts fund research and media projects, support summer work and internships and recognize student achievement through awards. Support also makes it possible to bring filmmakers, media artists and scholars to campus and to sustain the Ampersand International Arts Festival, an annual celebration of global film and media.
